Our rescue volunteers rely on donations from new Airedale homes for the dogs they place but many times the donations do cover all of the expenses incurred to get the homeless Airedale ready for his or her new home.  Vaccinations, microchipping, spay or neutering, grooming, foster care, boarding fees, gas for transporting, and sometimes even surgeries can quickly reduce a volunteer's rescue account to nothing in a heartbeat.  This is where NWATR steps in and assists the volunteer with additional funds.

NWATR depends on good people like you to help us keep going.  We need to concentrate on helping Airedales in need.  Having sufficient funds on hand allows us to do so quickly and efficiently.  Donations also allow us to fund those occasional very costly vetting procedures that we would not normally be able to do when funds are low.

NWATR is a charitable 501 (c) (3) corporation organized for the purpose of helping Airedales Terriers in need in the Northwest Region of the United States.  We operate under the guidelines of the Airedale Club of America and abide by the Club's code of ethics for rescue volunteers.
