UPDATE:  A previous wonderful home of ours has offered to foster Daisy and see her through her upcoming surgeries.  ORIGINAL POSTING  What a sweetie.  Daisy was reluctantly given up by her family because of her natural instinct of going after the family chickens.  Daisy has been raised with a wonderful family who did all of the right things in raising an Airedale Terrier puppy (puppy obedience, socialization with children and people, proper vetting etc.).  She is a leaner.  She leans into you for love and attention. Daisy was raised with a young boy and loves children. She loves to play with other dogs both at home and at the local dog park but does tires earlier than most because of hip discomfort.  Daisy is currently in foster care in the Puget Sound area.  We are looking for a compassionate home who will be willing to see Daisy through a surgery or two (funded by NWATR) to correct her hip problems.  Daisy is only 17 months old and has a long life ahead of her.  We at NWATR would like her to spend those years comfortable and pain free.  The home that steps forward for Daisy will be a lucky one to end up with this darling Airedale Terrier for many years to come. A foster home to see Daisy through will also be considered.  Please contact Jann Rogers at 206 240 2211 (jannrogers@comcast.net)  or Connie Turner at 503 399 9819 (cturner859@aol.com) if Daisy pulls at your heartstrings and you want more information.  Be sure to have an application in with us at www.nwairedalerescue.org.  As always with an Airedale Terrier, a securely fenced yard along with lots of time to spend with your Airedale Terrier is a must.
