A LIFE SAVED

 Letting this young Airedale girl be put down was not ever an option once our northwest coordinators got a call on January 8th from a rural shelter in central California that a very expectant Airedale had been turned in and was about to whelp puppies. Volunteers sprung into action with our Tracy, CA foster home immediately driving down to pick her up and our Portland, OR transporter driving round trip straight through to bring her back up to Salem, Or.  "Annie" whelped nine darling Airedale/English Mastiff? puppies within 24 hours of arrival at our nw coordinator's home in Salem on January 11 and 12th.  More to come...

 NORTHWEST AIREDALE TERRIER RESCUE (NWATR) is an all volunteer 501 (c)(3) charitable corporation set up to assist with the welfare of Airedale Terriers in the Northwest region including Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, and Northern California with a focus on helping Airedale Terriers in need find new homes. NWATR operates under the policies and guidelines of the
Airedale Terrier Club of America Rescue Committee.
